MooveTrax exists because its own founder ran into the problem it solves. Managing contactless car rentals, keeping vehicles secure, and handing off access to renters without a key exchange is a real operational headache -- and most GPS trackers on the market weren't built to solve it.
Why MooveTrax exists
MooveTrax was designed by a car-rental operator who needed reliable contactless automation for Turo, private rentals, and fleet use. Most GPS trackers on the market are built for personal vehicle monitoring -- they weren't designed around the specific workflow of handing a car off to a renter who isn't present when you lock it up, and getting it back safely without a face-to-face meeting.
That gap is what MooveTrax is built around: real-time GPS tracking, a remote kill switch, and phone-only access for renters, combined into one system designed specifically for the car-sharing and rental workflow -- not retrofitted from a personal-vehicle tracker.
What we build
MooveTrax is a vehicle security company focused on developing technologies that prevent theft and unauthorized use of vehicles through advanced proximity detection and automated kill switch systems. In practice, that means:
- GPS tracking with geofencing, speed alerts, and toll tracking
- A remote, hardwired kill switch on supported hardware tiers
- Phone-only, time-limited guest access -- no app required for renters
- Bluetooth passive entry that works without cellular signal
- Software-only integration for Tesla and other factory-connected vehicles
MooveTrax is approved for both ABI (Period X / INSHUR) and Tint off-trip insurance programs used by Turo hosts.
